Noel Gallagher has unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade on Prince Harry as he labels the Royal a “f**king snowflake” and went as far as to criticise him for “dissing” his family in public.
The 54-year-old High Flying Birds singer and former Oasis man has never been quiet with his opinion. The singer is famed for airing his own familial dirty laundry in front of the press, but even if we put aside that hypocrisy, the rant is right up there with one of his most embarrassing.
The conversation arose following Prince Harry’s recent issues with the Royal family and the British press. Having already witnessed his mother fall victim to the systemic pressure of being a princess, he was unwilling for his wife to follow the same fate. For Gallagher, though, none of that matters.
Within the tirade of abuse, Gallagher said the Duke of Sussex appeared to be “a f**king a***hole” when he was “dissing” his family in a public forum, presumably in reference to Harry’s appearance on the tell-all Oprah special.
Gallagher also confirmed to The Sun, that he sympathised with Harry’s older brother, and future King, Prince William for having a little brother who is always “shooting his f**king mouth off.”
The singer continued: “Prince William. I feel that f**king lad’s pain. He’s got a f**king younger brother shooting his f**king mouth off with s**t that is just so unnecessary. I’d like to think I was always the William.” It’s not the first time Gallagher has had a pop at Harry.
In a 2020 interview with Matt Morgan, Gallagher said: “Prince Harry, surely no one takes him seriously? He’s just a mad little kid.”
“I don’t like do-gooders in general, they f**king wind me up.”
