SPINN announce new UK tour dates

Liverpool indie kids SPINN have announced a recent influx of tour dates for later this year.

The band are currently working with long-time collaborator and producer Tom Longworth finishing their follow-up to 2019’s eponymous debut album, which is tentatively expected to be released sometime later this year. There’s no official timeline for that, but based on the tour dates and recent singles, I would expect to see something either in the summer or early fall from the band.

We got a major kick out of the group’s previous singles ‘The Things She Says To Me’ and ‘Billie’. Not to sound like too much of a professional novice, but seeing my own words reviewing a band’s song on that same band’s press release made me feel like a real professional and not just a music fanatic.

If there’s a band that can speak to the joys of youth and not having a single idea of how to function in the adult world, SPINN would be a solid choice for ambassadors.

Made up of a bunch of misfits in their early twenties, the Liverpool four-piece fill their songs with the same thoughts, anxieties, and observations that any young adult just trying to make it in this topsy turvy world can relate to. They’re truly a people’s band, as long as people keep fucking up and falling in love and getting too caught up in their own heads. I would put money on that happening, so SPINN have a bright future ahead.
