The actor John Stamos, known for his iconic role as Jesse Katspolis in Full House, joined the Beach Boys on stage yesterday for a performance of ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’ and ‘Sloop John B.’ as part of CNN’s Fourth in America Special.
The Full House star has been associated with the band since appearing in a 1988 video for ‘Kokomo’, and thereafter has made several TV appearances with the band.
The last time Stamos appeared with the band was in 2018 on another CNN special, having played with the band several times on their 50th anniversary tour back in 2012.
Stamos emerged on stage in Ft Lauderdale with the Hawaiian shirt clad Beach Boys at a celebratory concert on the beach. The performance was met with a raucous reception as fans enjoyed the classic singalong melodies after a very difficult year for everyone.
Away from the Beach Boys, Stamos is also currently starring in the Disney+ show Big Shot in which he plays a temperamental college basketball coach in dire need of the relaxing melodies he regaled on Sunday evening.
